Remedial Actions Implemented to Date
Significant progress has been made in implementing the
cleanup remedies at the Livermore Site to include:
- Operating 30 ground water and 5 soil vapor
treatment facilities
- Conducting two Five-year Reviews
where the remedies were determined to be effective
- Conducting four soil removals
- Receiving State of
California closure on Treatment Facility F vadose zone
cleanup
- Preparing four Explanation of Significant
Differences
- Treating over 2 billion gallons of ground
water
- Removing over 1,600 kg of VOCs from the subsurface
